Children’s design competition

La Mauvaise Herbe librairie design competition – April 2026

In April La Mauvaise Herbe librairie organised a design competition.  The theme was Living in the Forest.  There were three age categories, 2 to 5, 6 to 9 and 10 years plus.

Volunteers from Les Amies de Sally Salamander and ACFAA spent an afternoon at the librairie with the challenging task of choosing the best design.

It was a difficult choice as there were so many fantastic designs but eventually the decision was made.  The winning designs in each of the three categories were presented with a beautifully hand crafted bird house, made by the ACFAA Atelier group.  The afternoon was rounded of with delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy together.
